How do I choose an artist?
Start with the portfolio. Look for finished work that matches the style, linework, color, subject matter, or overall feeling you want. Open the artist’s profile when you want to see more.
What if I want a specific artist?
Use the Instagram or Facebook link on that artist’s profile to contact them directly. That is the best place to ask about their availability and whether your idea is a fit.
What if I do not know who to contact?
Send a general request to the studio and choose “No preference” on the form. The studio can review what you send and help decide where it should go next.
Does choosing an artist on the form guarantee them?
No. An artist selection on the general request form records your preference, but it does not guarantee that artist will take the project. Contact the artist directly if you specifically want to work with them.
Does submitting the form book an appointment?
No. It sends a request to the studio. Someone will review it and follow up about fit, availability, pricing, consultation needs, and the next step.
What should I include in my request?
Include the idea, placement, approximate size, whether you are considering color or black and grey, and any reference images that explain the direction. You do not need to have every detail decided.
How much will my tattoo cost?
Pricing depends on the artist, size, placement, detail, color, and the amount of time involved. The artist can discuss pricing after reviewing the request.
Can I stop by the studio?
The studio is at 830 East San Martin in Bolivar, Missouri. Because each artist handles their own availability, messaging the artist before making the trip is the most reliable way to know when to visit.
Can I send reference images?
Yes. The request form accepts reference images. They should communicate the subject, mood, placement, or visual direction. They should not ask an artist to duplicate another tattoo exactly.
Where can I find aftercare information?
Your artist will give instructions for your specific tattoo and bandage. The site’s aftercare page is available as a general reference.
